2025 ➡️ 2021. You know I’m a sucker for a good milestone post! This time last year I accepted a position as lead trainer at @farfetchedacres and I am so grateful that I did. It is a beautiful place where urban pups get the opportunity to run free and be wild for a while. @colleensafford has built a space that honors dogs in all of the important ways. I am so grateful for the ways this last year has pushed me. I thought separating myself from Capital Canines would be hard, but I grew into a version of myself as a trainer that makes more sense. They say that dog trainers don’t become business owners because they are entrepreneurs, and that was true in my case. Loving what you do can make it hard to untangle yourself from your work. But it was an easy change because I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of @farfetchedacres and I’m thankful for my team of fellow dog lovers and dog nerds who have guided me through a pivotal year in my training journey! ❤️🐾
